After reviewing the website, if you have any remaining questions, please let me know. If you are planning a visit, it is important that you email me in advance so I can get you additional information including schedule and a Plan of the Day/Plan of the Month.


Thank you again for your interest in the Sea Cadets. See the UPDATED POD below (as of 22 April) For visitors that do not have base access, to reach the NOSC please put in SAMMC in your GPS and that will take you to the visitor control center. You will see a Navy Uniformed Service member that will assist you. This weekend is complicated, so please double check your arrival and departure times and locations.

Cadets and Parents,
See you this Saturday! If you do not want to spend the night due to Mother's Day - pls email me and let me know.

A) Drill Fee: $30.
B) Disposable plastic bottles are not allowed. Refillable hydration bottles such as Nalgene, Swiss Gear etc… are allowed. DO NOT FORGET
WATER BOTTLE OR CAMELBAK. MUST BRING WATER!
C) Upon entry into Sunny Side access for JBSA Canyon Lake provide the entry gate with your Cadet’s name and let them know you are
dropping off. Reference Group Camping Area Assignments for Drop-Off locations of your cadets. All Visitors drop off at Group Camping
site 1. For overnighters, bring a Tent if you have one, if you do not we have extra. Ensure you have the following camping type gear (aside
from normal overnight sea bag items): Sunscreen, bug spray
D) Females must wear a 1 piece bathing suite during all swimming and boating events.
E) Bring running shoes to participate in PRT
F) COVID POLICY:
? Upon arrival the following checks will be conducted: temperature, symptom screening
? For sleeping: arrangements will be made to ensure cadets are spaced a significant distance from one another.
